BSA, ACH and SAFE ACT Audit Special

Did you know a bank is required to perform annual independent testing for compliance with the SAFE Act (Regulation G)?  Schedule a BSA/AML Audit and an ACH Audit to be completed by KBCS in 2019, and receive a complimentary SAFE Act Audit.  If the Bank has already performed its 2019 SAFE Act audit, the Bank may substitute a Regulation GG (Unlawful Internet Gambling) audit.

The bank must be a member of KBCS to receive this offer.  Contact Allison Kernin, J.D., AAP or call (785) 232-3444 for more information about KBCS membership or auditing services.  Subject to availability.  Must contact us by April 19th, 2019, for this offer.

Compensation and Benefits Survey Underway

KBA has begun to collect data for its 2019 Compensation and Benefits Survey, to be published on or about June 1. Please keep in mind that banks completing and returning their questionnaires by the March 15 deadline will receive the results at the special participant price, which is less than half of the non-participant price. Participants in last year's survey have already received a preprinted form and may request an electronic copy of their customized questionnaire by contacting Lynne Mills at the KBA. If you did not participate in last year's survey, you received a blank questionnaire or you may access an electronic fillable copy here. Please direct questions to KBA Educational Resources at 785-232-3444 or Becky Tongish.
