YBOK - Letter from the President



YBOK has always been a distinguished group for professionals on the rise. And now we've strengthened our position with an exciting new partnership. YBOK is pleased to officially be a division of the KBA. For many years we've had a close relationship with the KBA, but this new structure will bolster our affiliation - providing better stability, staff resources, and professional opportunities.

In addition to our collaboration with the KBA, YBOK provides numerous networking and educational opportunities. It is our goal to provide members with skills and knowledge to advance their career and areas of expertise within our banks. Our members come from all sizes of institutions and communities. So as part of YBOK, you can connect with those facing similar challenges and situations.

We have two exceptional conferences which provide further opportunity to discuss and learn about issues relevant to our banking operations. Plus, you can continue your conversations on the course, as we offer golf tournaments and other social events to broaden your relationships. We also provide eight $500 scholarships to our members each year for continued education and sponsor the PEP program in conjunction with the KBA.

I have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from my membership in YBOK and appreciate the chance to serve as this year's president. My thanks to the Board of Directors and Chairpersons for their commitment to providing quality conferences and activities. I'm looking forward to another successful year!
