CREDIT UNION CALL TO ACTION NOTICE

ABA is urging all bankers to go online and send letters asking their House members not to co-sponsor the latest version of the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 1537), which was introduced March 15, 2007. The ABA-composed letter explains that CURIA would allow credit unions to stray even further from their mission of serving low- and moderate-income people, while also raising safety and soundness concerns. The automated online system requires only a ZIP code and a couple of minutes to identify and send a letter to your House member. Please send a letter.
